Hotkeys

The main priority rule: Esc stops the laser regardless of input focus whenever marking or the red light is running. It is the highest-priority key in the application; the other meanings of Esc (close a panel, clear the selection) apply only when the laser is not active.

Known hint mismatches

  • The command palette shows Ctrl+Shift+S for “Toggle Object Snap” — the actual key is Alt+S.
  • The Line button tooltip says “Line (L)”, but L activates the path drawing tool; the separate Line tool is available from the command palette with no key.
  • Search in the object library opens only via the button, despite the “Ctrl+F” hint.
