Pens in Zenom: 12 pens per document, object assignment, live editing, a material preset library, and an honest status for every parameter.

Hatching

Filling outlines with scan lines: five hatch types, multi-layer setups with their own pens, presets, an in-dialog laser path simulation, and honest parameter status.

Simulation and time estimate

Marking simulation on the canvas (SIM, F4) through the real pipeline, playback with scrubbing, a live time estimate, and the rotary engraving 3D view.

Running a mark

MARK (F2), passes and part counters, continuous mode with an honest status, Continue Mode, the red light, and the unconditional Esc stop.

Raster engraving and 3D

Engraving images: threshold, dithering, grayscale, and 3D slices; DPI and presets, BiDir calibration, STL relief, and an honest machine verification status.

Calibration and lens correction

.cor correction files and EzCad markcfg7 import, the lens calibration wizard, BiDir calibration, test fire, and Material Test; some of these tools are still being systematically verified on the machine.
